Sponsor a Child
Please sponsor a child. £5 per month pays for a child to attend homework club. We ask for a year’s funds so that the student will have the knowledge that they will be a member of the homework club for a full year. In return you will get a monthly message from your sponsored student. Please bear in mind that English is not their first language. The tutors will help them write their message!
This pays for children from the local government school to allow them to meet their potential. With professional tutors who will assist them in subjects leading up to SLC (School Leaving Certificate normally at age 16), essential if they are to have the opportunity to continue in education. English is key as further education is given in English and government schools teach in Nepali, whereas private schools teach in English.
